Bell Waves to Save Earth

Worldwide Bell Waves start at the international dateline at 3:50 pm when we ask everyone, especially spiritual institutions, to ring their loudest bell 350 times to send the message to the world's governments that CO2 emissions need to be reduced to 350 parts per million, a sustainable level to support life as we know it on the planet.

As 3:50pm arrives at every new time zone the sound wave will make its way around the planet to shatter the globe's greenhouse of inaction with prayer, hope, and witness for meaningful agreements to save the earth.

The first Bell Wave vigil will begin on the day before the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) meeting that convenes in Poznan, Poland, and end on the day after. The prayer wave will vigilantly circle the earth for ten days. We ask you either ring your bell 35 times each of the ten days November 30th to December 9th, 2008, or 350 times on one of the days. If only one day please consider getting ten congregations within ear shod to pledge for each of the ten days. The planet is burning, and we must sound the alarm.

Then again on the 350th day of the year (Monday 15 December 2008 & Wednesday 16 December 2009) to not only remind the UNFCCC participants but also to be the annual witness event until CO2 levels return to 350 ppm.

The MOST important witness event will be the twelve days of the UNFCCC meeting in Copenhagen November 30th to December 11th, 2009. Many scientists feel this is the last chance for a geo-political agreement to save the planet.
