The Prayer Vigil
to End Global Warming

There is an urgent need to bring the CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) parts per million level down to 350. We are now at 385 and climbing. The technologies already exist, and are economically viable. As a global society we need the will to act. There is, also, no greater threat to those living in extreme poverty than the planet's continual warming. A united faith community, at the very least, needs to bear witness.

You can participate in The Counting Prayer for the Environment in TWO ways, by offering these words...

The world now has the means to end global warming, we pray we will have the will.

...individually and/or congregationally. The Counting Prayer for the Environment can be made before, during, or after each worship service. And/or by Bell Ringing/Praying

Ring the loudest bell you can find 350 times- each chime symbolizing a Counting Prayer for the Environment.

People will ask what all the holy sound is about-your chance to tell them about the need to bring CO2 levels down to 350. There will also be Worldwide Bell Waves uniting the populace in saving the planet-letting elected officials witness our resolve, as we witness their actions to save the planet Earth.
